This hotel comes highly recommended for clients who require a pleasant, family run hotel at a reasonable rate in downtown zurich. pl0706. the building itself is simple in style with a pale yellow facade. the rooms vary a lot in size. on average they are medium sized, though some singles are small. the rooms are simple and functionally styled and all are in good condition, as are the bathrooms. some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings. the breakfast room is located on the ground floor of the hotel. the hotel will happily provide kosher breakfast if required. the lobby is very small and a little old fashioned. there is very limited seating and a small reception desk rendering it a little unsuitable for group check in/out. the hotel is located in central zurich about 10 minutes from the central station by public transport. the hotel enjoys a surprisingly peaceful location despite being so central.
