At few metres from the main entry of Herculaneum excavations raises the XVIII century Villa Riario Sforza, which is today a prestigious Hotel structure called Miglio D¿Oro Park Hotel. The restyling that in the XIX century transformed the structure into a noble and impressive Villa has given large spaces to the open air, richly furnished with marmoreal sculptures, fountains and fish pond, chalets and small artificial lakes, caves and falls.
