This is an Historical Masseria used to be the private houses of noble people in the past, it was built in a very typical style with local white stone. The sighting tower was used to spot the arrival of Saracens, the infamous Turkish pirates. The building dates back to the 16th century and these type of buildings are an important part of the history of the Puglia region. This is an excellent property, rated together with the sister hotel Torre Coccaro as two of the most beautiful Masserias in the Apulia region . DC 05/06
