The hotel is in an old Florentine building from the 15th century, which has recently been renovated, offering all modern comforts but keeping many of the original features, such as the lovely vaulted ceilings in the reception area. The owners are a Japanese-Italian couple, who have decorated the interiors with a mixture of Japanese and Florentine items.
