The direct, quiet location in the centre of the city near the railway station with excellent traffic connections (e.g. to the fair in Nuremberg) makes the hotel very attractive for its guests. From here, you reach in a convenient way on foot the pedestrian precict, the theatre, the castle with the botanic garden, and the University hospitals of Erlangen. The family Scherzer leads the hotel in the third generation and looks since then after the wellbeing of their individual domestic and foreign guests.
