Scandic Luosto is located in the Luosto holiday and ski resort, 130 kilometers north-east of the city of Rovaniemi. The hotel’s facilities include 54 well-equipped log cottages and 5 hotel rooms, the world's largest Log Restaurant, the SkiKnööli ski restaurant, 3 ski lifts, 7 slopes, a ski equipment rental service and a caravan park with 140 electrically connected places for motor homes. An exotic, igloo-shaped hut seating 80 people, located beside the base station of the Sun ski lift. The hut is open when the Sun lift is. Enjoy your own picnic lunch in front of the fire, or you can book a special evening program with Lappish food. The Keloravintola is an atmospheric evening restaurant seating 340 people — with traditions dating back 30 years. Our menu consists of dishes made from traditional Lappish raw materials: reindeer roast from the local reindeer farmer, mushrooms, salmon, and the tastiest berries of the forest. Specialties and classic dishes of the logwood restaurant include sautéed reindeer and Escalope of Luosto. Our menu also offers the most popular dishes of the Scandic chain. The high-quality food selection is complemented by a high-quality selection of wines and other drinks. Take a break from downhill skiing and enjoy hot drinks and fast food in our ski restaurant or on its sunny terrace. There are seats for 150 people inside and a further 50 on the outer terrace. Knööli is open daily, according to the opening hours of the slopes. It is located directly at the lower station of the Base lift.
