This small, modern hotel is something of a helsinki institution being the property favoured by visiting digintaries and those favouring a more understated home from home in the centre of town. ry0506. this hotel takes the top couple of floors in what is primarily an office building. the exterior would be fairly easily missed if it weren't for the grand entrance. the rooms are large and in very good condition. they are decorated in 1980's style with top quality furniture and fittings and pale pastel colourschemes.many enjoy lovely views out over the water whilst those facing inland are more peaceful. the bathrooms are also in very good condition. the breakfast room is located at the front of the hotel overlooking the harbour. the lobby is the only part of the hotel at street level and is large and very modern. this hotel enjoys one of the finest locations in the city overlooking the harbour and within a short walk of all the sights and shopping.
