(220705nn). this is a traditional hotel in keeping with its surroundings, which are mainly shops, all with the traditional exterior experienced by hotels in the area of the grand place. the bedrooms are small to medium in size and although quite basic, they are very nice and comfortable and decorated in bright colours. they are in good condition as are the bathrooms. this hotel has a breakfast room only which is located on the first floor of the hotel and is fairly small and basic. the lobby is very small, with no seating, but very traditional in style with dark wood panelling and was formerly the entrance of a private residence. this hotel is located in the heart of brussels, a short hop, skip and a jump from the grand place and near to the bourse and chinatown as well as numerous shops and restaurants.
