Stroblerhof Hotel lies on the east shore of the Abersee lake, which is the old name or this part of Wolfgangsee lake. With its wide, flat lake shore and natural beaches today Strobl is among the famous holiday resorts in the Salzkammergut region, which features almost all kinds of sports and leisure time facilites. In summer you can go on fantastic hiking tours in beautiful nature, in winter the ski centre has 8 lifts, numerous downhill slopes and nordic ski tracks at all levels of difficulty. Kaprun is located a few kilometres above Zell am See with whom it shares its ski area. Capron's part of the ski area is geared towards good skiers and the Klizsteinhorn glacier is considered the highlight of the resort. The view from an altitude of more than 3000 meters of the lake on the edge of the resort is incredible. Like its neighbour, Kaprun is equipped with extensive recreational facilities, including a remarkable sports centre. Whiners will complain that there aren't more difficult runs, but less informed skiers will appreciate the diversity of the terrain.Ski Horizon
