All Austrian presidents elected since 1945 have stayed in this historic hotel, which was completely renovated in late 2001 and early 2002. This centrally located neoclassical building was constructed in the 1650s. Rooms vary widely in style and size but are usually high-ceilinged and comfortably old-fashioned; some, however, are very modernized. Most contain double beds, and each is equipped with a tiled bathroom with tub and shower.
