Very nice little modern property, in a quiet location, with a small swimming pool. friendly and affordable, if one isn't fussy about having a restaurant on the premises.vu0403/0804. low rise modern building, opened 2001. medium size rooms, modern, done in art deco style. very pleasant, each with private facilities. this property has no restaurant. they can provide continental breakfast, but there is no restaurant. there are hotels near by - tradewinds and holiday inn and there are many restaurants in the vicinity. small lobby, art deco style, with full size windows, looking out onto the street and pool. located very close to the centre of cairns and just a couple of blocks to the esplanade. walking (energetic) distance to restaurants and barrier reef cruise departure wharf. cairns is the gateway to the spectacular great barrier reef and world heritage rainforest.
